Once again I’m unnerved by the sense that I’m being watched and followed as I stride through Hogsmeade following another session with the NEWT level Defence Against the Dark Arts sections at Hogwarts. Instead of being subtle about it, I stop in the middle of High Street and openly look around for my shadow. Seething in irritation I focus on The Phoenix House and Apparate directly there again.

I’ve been a bundle of nervous excitement all night. Ginny is coming home to stay with me! I know Tonks was glad to be rid of me when she took off for her weekend with Remus. What with my constantly bouncing from elation at Ginny coming home to dread at my meeting with Molly.
